Abstract

With the deepening of geological understanding and the change of exploration ideas in the eastern South China Sea, a major breakthrough has been made in the oil and gas exploration in the Mesozoic buried hill of HZ 26-6 structure in Huizhou Depression in recent years. The study shows that the buried hill reservoir of HZ 26-6 structure is mainly composed of altered diorite and granite with fracture-pore or fractured types. The reservoir characteristics are very complex, which makes it difficult to quickly and accurately evaluate the reservoir effectiveness while drilling by post-drilling logging, coring, experimental analysis and other methods, and seriously affects the decision of the next exploration. Based on the analysis of the well mud logging, logging and testing data of drilled wells in the HZ 26-6 structure, the logging response characteristics are clarified, and the effectiveness evaluation standard for the fracture-cave reservoir in the Mesozoic buried hill is established through optimizing the comprehensive geological and engineering parameters, which improves the effectiveness evaluation method based on the comprehensive logging data for fractured reservoirs in buried hill. The practical application shows that the effectiveness evaluation method for fractured reservoirs in buried hill with comprehensive logging parameters has good applicability in the study area, and this method is of great significance for the rapid evaluation fracture-cave reservoir in buried hill while drilling in Pearl River Mouth Basin.
